The organizers of CREF, led by Jerry Butler and Matthew Perks, have over 30 years experience working in and with the Caribbean public and private sectors. In addition they are hugely experienced organizers of cross-border business-to-business conferences both in the Caribbean and around the world.

Jerry currently serves as the Managing Director of Butler Caribbean Consultants & Associates (BCCA), a firm managing a network of Caribbean investment bankers, lawyers, and accountants specializing in identifying and executing Caribbean investment opportunities and projects. He previously represented the interests of the English-speaking Caribbean Countries on the Boards of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Inter-American Investment Corp. and the Multilateral Investment Fund in Washington, DC as Chairman of the Audit Committee, and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Board.

Matthew is an experienced conference director with a long-track record leading events in the emerging markets. He has worked extensively in the Caribbean, most recently at the helm of the annual Euromoney/LatinFinance Caribbean Investment Forum.
