CONFERENCE ORGANIZERS

The organizers of CREF, led by Matthew Perks and Jerry Butler, have over 35 years experience working in and with the Caribbean public and private sectors. In addition they are hugely experienced organizers of cross-border business-to-business conferences both in the Caribbean and around the world.

Jerry Butler currently serves as the Managing Director of Butler Caribbean Consultants & Associates (BCCA), a firm managing a network of Caribbean investment bankers, lawyers, and accountants specializing in identifying and executing Caribbean investment opportunities and projects. He previously represented the interests of the English-speaking Caribbean Countries on the Boards of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Inter-American Investment Corp. and the Multilateral Investment Fund in Washington, DC as Chairman of the Audit Committee, and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Board.

Matthew Perks is a highly experienced conference director with a long-track record leading events in the emerging markets. He has worked extensively in the Caribbean, including at the helm of the Euromoney/LatinFinance Caribbean Investment Forum. He previously served as a director within the Euromoney Group and is currently CEO of New Energy Events.
